To measure pressure, Do you ever find two gauges that read the same? I have used the little plastic ones that come with quads and they are usually a pound off from each other.

I even bought two of the fancy dial-type gauges and they were not within two pounds of each other. I know this may sound like hair-splitting, but a pound of error at 5 pounds is a 20% error.

It seems like if one could get a gauge like is equiped for blood pressure cuff's that might be about the right range and quality for getting accurate readings.

I was actually thinking about McMaster Carr, or Grainger as well. Anything would work as long as it is calibrated.

I tried 3 lbs front and 4 lbs rear, ride was great but was concerned with high speeds on tight trails. Last PM rode with 4.5 lbs all around and it seemed great for all riding styles.

Rode 27" 589 M/T's on a 02 Grizz this weekend. Those tires may be good for rock crawling and mud, but high speed trail riding NOT AT ALL. Couldn't corner at all and when the trail turned left slightly, the quad just kept going straight at 50 mph, I tried everything and couldn't get that thing to turn. The quad and I were both ok after getting back on the trail, but it was scary as hell and I switched back to my 650. Never again 589 M/T's. Funny, the 589 M/S are great, my friend has em on his 650. I can't believe they'd be that different. Maybe it was the quad/tire combination.

I had to set my front end toe to zero ( as per nyroc instuctions) to stop that from happening. My Titans 589 MT appears fine now at high speeds.

Parker--- I would agree about the toe setting being off, esp. if the problem was only Left turns! My 4-Man was very stable with the 589 M/T's. Haven't tried them on the P-650. I run Spiders frt., Shur-Trax rear in 26".
