Handle bars for Mojave!
#1
Whats up guys:
I was wondering what type of aftermarket bars you mojave guys were using. I wanted to know what brand, and bend you were using and how close they are to the stock size bars. I like the width and size of the stock ones so I don't want to change them too much.
Also I was wondering if anyone has Tag bars,Pro taper, or Azonic, the ones that come with the mounting bracket. Do they makes these for Mojaves or is there any kind of universial mount you can use on a mojave.
Well thanks for any replies, talk to ya later.

The best bend I found hossman are the 250R or 300EX bend. These are higher bend and a bit more pull back, very comfortable. The 400EX bend is between the mojave and 250R bend. I have the moose high atv racing bars my self, but I payed $4 for a new set.
As far as pro taper bars go, we have them on our dirt bikes and I see absolutely no way any one would like these on a quad.
Also if you get the bend you like and they are a bit wider than your liking just cut the ends off with a hacksaw.
Higher bars make a big difference on my lakota, I bet they would make a big difference on your mojave.

Hey guys:
Thanks for the replies! I have been looking at the O'neal pro-locks and the Renthal Aluminum bars. Don't know which ones to get yet.
MentalMojave did the prolocks bolt right up to the mojave?
Also Gaff which brand of bars are you talking about. Are they Renthal bars with a 250R bend or 300ex bend, or something else?
Thanks

just a genaral statement. The 250R and 300EX have the same bend, Doesn't matter what brand. The 400EX is between the 250R/300EX bend and what the stock mojave has.
I think the 250R/300EX bend is the best my self, although the width is a bit wider than most would like. The ones I have are extreamly close to the 400EX bend. I like them alot. They made the hole ergo's alot better as far as reach and comfort goes.
It's funny I see poeple using the pro tapers, I would have thought no one would like them.
The higher stance and about a inch pull back more verses stock are realy just a much better feel cruising and exspecialy riding agressively.
It seemed to me the lower bars made it more like a cruising type feel. Very hard to get up close and realy put some muscle behind it. On the jumps the higher stance has allowed me to control the quad in the air fairly easy. Where the lower set bars thier was no control whats so ever in the air. I also had certain body englishes that made using my controls hard with the stock bars.
I know this sounds wierd but it helped a bunch as far as putting me and the quad in the spots that I wanted to be while riding agressive.
