With engine cold.

(1) remove all plastic
(2) Remove gas tank
(3) remove the ignition coil
(4)remove the valve cover
(5)remove the two plugs directly above the shifter.
(6)using a 17mm socket and a flashlight line up the "t" on the magneto with the line in the top of the uppermost hole(where you took the plug out of).
(7)theres two (0) looking things on the cam gears, they must be opposite(the one on the exhaust cam facing towards the front of the bike, the one on the intake must be facing the rear of the bike)and they must be level with the top of the head.If not repeat step six,but turn engine over 360 degrees and try again.
(8)set valves to .008-.010
(9) put bike back together

Oh, you will need a phillips screwdriver,a smaller blade screwdriver,a 10mm socket and rachet with a 6 inch extension.A 10mm wrench,17mm socket and a set of feeler guages.

And a pretty large screwdriver to get the plugs out of the case.
