Does anyone know if the main jets in the Prairie 650 are special Keihn jets? I have a 140 and a 145 Keihn jet, but they don’t look quite right when compared to the 138 out of the front carb. The 140 has a slightly taller head than the 145, but the 138 is shorter than them both. So when they are side by side, the 140 is the tallest, then the 145, then the 138. I have it all torn apart and my dealer is closed until Monday.

went to a after market shop one day and the part guy( a friend of mine ) got me a handfull of jets and a photocopy of his parts page for jets. The ones he thought would fit looked real close to the one i pulled out but were longer. He said that they were all keihin , Luckey some he had gave me were of the right length, if this matters i dont knew, but to be on the safe side stick with the proper length.I saved the photo copy and it says
99101-393-xxx(9551-82-xxx) for all honda vb,vd, and ve series. all kawasaki cv and cvk series.
some honda pd and pe series, and 600, 1000 hurricane. main air jet for fcr.
This page has a list
019-193 #138
019-192 #135
019-194 #140
019-195 #142
019-196 #145

The writing and marks on the ones i used were exactly like the jets from my carbs.
hope this helps

Raymond
