Handgrip heaters on 650

Roscoe69: Both for the thumb warmer and the handlebar grips I used a 24hour cure/two part epoxy. They both have been on now for one year with no problems. Like Nyroc has said I have heard of people using Goop with great success.
MastrBlastr: In another post, I ask about your soft hot grips, the ones I installed are made by "Hot Grips", they are made of a hard compound and you get hand fatigue on long rides. I would like to know more about the "soft/hot" grips that you have. Thanks........MJSTX

roscoe69, it is like PVC glue to me, except it seems to be a great all around glue. Like nyroc said, that goop is great also, I gooped a handle back on my favorite coffee cup about 2 years ago and it is still going strong.

Procedure for putting on thumb warmers with shrinktube: Put the thumb warmer on the throttle, slide the shrinktube over top and shrink it using a lighter. Try to stay away from the wires with the flame while you are shrinking it. Done.
