P650 wheelie accident

downsides....hard to keep front end down and traction is a big problem. No, seriously, it does seem to be more cold natured now than before. Sounds hard to believe considering the nature of this stock beast. I do not know if that is normal or just something with mine after installing the cams. The bike runs smooth. When running, it sounds the same as it did before other than rumbling under engine braking (sounds real cool). Oh yeah, for those who hate it as much as I did, rejetting is required. Again, I let Mike take care of everything.
The cams were almost $200 each. I do not have a total for just the cams because I had other work done also.
Mike is a great guy and if you need something for your 650, he can get it for you. He was very willing to help me any way he could and I would definitely recommend him to anyone.
auto-decompression...I was beginning to wonder if this worked at all even as a stock bike. The v-twin definitely does not pull start as easy as my grandma's lawnmower. Actually, I have not tried to pull start it since the cams were installed. Even if it does not and you and 2 of your biggest buddies have to pull together to crank it, the cams are worth it.
For those of you that cannot wait for the cdi, maybe the cams can ease the anxiety until the box is ready. I could not wait, and still feel anxious waiting for the box. Bearman, how much should we have to richen our jets for the cdi box? Will any other adjustments need to be made?

Seems like lessons have got to be learned often. After 3000 miles and a complete worn out set of Dunflops I figured the wheely was gone from my machine. WRONG!! The other night it was time to herd the neighbors cows and as cows go, one didn't want to do the correct thing, anyway things were just right with the throttle buried and a little incline and a hidden rock ledge to get things started it just about wheelied out from under me at somewhere around thirty mph. So none of those clutch springs, or cams, or any of that hotrod stuff for me! New tires are going to be scary enough for me thank you very much!!
Go forth and ride!!

Dustin, I don't have a rear bumper. I made the gas can holders to fit onto the rear rack. I don't have any pics right now, but if you are interested, I can get some film, take some pics, get it put on disc and e-mail em to you. Let me know. There is some welding required to make the rack strong enough to take the weight of the entire setup.
