Hello , This is my first post on this site . I was sent over from the Nation . I was looking for other Lakota/mojave fans and I found some here . Thank God I found others I was alone over there . I look forward to visiting and sharing with all of You here .

My Lakota Sport I bought new last august '01 . I race it in ATV Rodeos and have modified it somewhat . I run front shocks off a 220 bayou ( rear shocks on the 220 ) this lowers it 4.5 inches and levels the A arms out . The rear I run 18 inch ITP Holeshots on an extra set of stock wheels and tie down the rear to firm it up . This machine handles like a Sprint car on the Flat surfaces we race on . I run a UNI filter right now and am wanting a Supertrap really Bad . I plan on adding a 13 tooth sprocket to the front . I installed a rear rack and sometimes run in utility class but mostly run in four stroke . So far I have a sixth place out of 11 while it was stock and last race I took 2nd out of five . The susp. mods lowered my times around 3-5 seconds on the average . I look forward to visiting with Ya'll over the next few months .
I am located in south Central Mo. and we have a Quad explosion going on here . I am involved with a Citizens committee trying to start a Club for ATVs and develop Trails in the Area . I have been a Deputy Sheriff for 11 years now but Love to Race to . Quads are like a Passion for me almost as much as I like to Hunt . Anyway see you all later .

 

Welcome! There are a few Lakota guys here. Since you have not already done so, spend the $7 and get the 13t front sprocket. Works great. Also, the Supertrapp along with the proper jetting will really wake it up for you. Good luck with your rodeo's!
