Just thought I'd pass along this info, took my 650 in for it's yearly check, belt has over 1800 miles and still look's good, no grooves in the clutch's either, maybe I'm just lucky. The only thing I do is when I hit the trail's I go to low range and stay there, It will run about 42 mph in low and I ride between 5-30 mph, evidently low range makes the belt's and clutch's last alot longer, wish everybody luck and have a great summer.what's left of it anyway........

Actually nothing special other than running in low 85% of the time, It only gets cleaned once a year with an air gun, the deflection was adjusted at 750 miles and that's all that has been done, they did set it to where it was about on it's tightest, but still in spec,I think the tighter they are the longer they last also, I have the EPI spring's but haven't put them in yet,I will soon as they are getting rave reveiw's. maybe I just lucked out and got a good belt/clutch, I hard from time to time, but keep it maintained, I think keeping the deflection tight, and running low range at low speed's and on hill's will end the belt clutch problem's....
