I wouldn't do mine because of the extra wear on the joints and drive train.

One reason I got a 650 because of the lower center of gravity. Lifting is just not my cup of tea. I even feel a little more tippy with tall tires, when I am ridind off camber. I sometimes ride on such serious slopes that I stand both feet on the edge of one floorboard, and hang body as far as possible on uphill side. Works a lot better on right side of quad than left.

I made my own 1 1/4 inch lift kit. I also made some spacers to put in my front shocks to increase the front spring preload and I maxed out my rear shock preload. Why? Cause I weigh damn near 300 lbs. and I bottomed out my front shocks more than once. After fixing up all my shocks, I don't bottom out no more. The only reason I put a lift in it is because I ride over a lot of trees and rocks and the extra clearance helps quite a bit. That and the fact that with the 26 inch 589s on there, it looks WWWAAAAAAYYYY cool!!!!!

It depends what you want to do with it? I like mine because we have bad winters and it provides better clearance. Also my dealer said when I put my snow plow on it would really sag in the front, so the $150 lift was cheaper than putting on new shocks. The only thing I don't like is off cambers it tends to want to roll, but that could be from the stock Dunflop tires. I am waiting to hear if anyone likes the new Radial Outlaws befor they get replaced.
