Hi All, I was thinking on the ride in to work today about the good old days. When I was racing full time in the 80s we used to have several sayings to bash the other brands. This was like a Chevy guy bashing a Ford guy by saying "FORD stands for Found On Road Dead". Then the Ford guy would say to the chevy guy, "No, FORD stands for First On Race Day". Then hopfully both would have a laugh and move on. We used to have the same banter in the ATV racing world. Maybe it has been to long ago now, but I can only remember two sayings. 1. Better Dead than Red. 2. It aint Mean if it aint Green. I was wondering if anyone knows of any new atv sayings along these lines or recalls any old ones?

 

i am a loyal chevy and kawi fan. i always bash ford guys by saying what u said "found on road dead", or "fix or repair daily" they always said "first on race day" so i respond with yeah ford's are first on race day....first to break down!!!

I though FORD stands for F'n Old Rebuilt Dodge. And a Classic Ford spelled Backwards stands for Driver Returns On Foot. Was Ford the one that designed the Heated tail gate?
