I'll give you a report after the weekend. We are gonna' tear up some of those mountains in S.W. W.VA. This'll be the first time on the P-650, and I am stoked! Hatfield/McCoy trails here we come!!!!!!

Definately the best utility for steeps. I think the weight ratio (measured from front tires) is 52% front and 48% rear. If you look from the side, you will notice that the center of the engine is back quite a ways (not up front like some would think). The gas tank being beneath the rear fender and seat all helps to keep the weight down low. The design is definatly the best out there as far as weight displacement. You can't get any better.

It looks like another queastion popes in my head, last year i was out ridding in northern WV and they had ALOT of rain so we had huge mud holes ever where. we came up to this on that every one kinda stoped and stared at dareing one another to enter it, so a guy that was with us on a stock 325 sportsman went in and I dont know how he did it but he came out the other side, his whole atv was under water the ONLY thing I could see through the whole mud hole was the top of his handle bars. and to my knolage he dident het water in anything no sliping belt or nothing. (altho he did blow off his oil hose 20 miles down the road). Now that im done rambelling my queastion is can the prairie go that far under without problems?

Another thing to consider when going down very steep hills on the p650...Go down in 2wd. The reason I say this is cus in 4wd, when you grab the rear breaks it also grabs the front brakes. My prairie did a front roll over because of this.

Not only be in 2wd but be in high range. Im talking about a drop off face. Where you go off the edge and free fall for a sec before hitting ground. Mudhound if you read this I will show you this drop off next time I come in.
