Hey,
I know that the polaris has a (IRS) thingy but is the prairie even CLOSE to the comfort of the polaris when on rugh trails or jumping. I was out ridding yester day on my (86 honda 250) and saw a place that looked like you could get some BIG air, not knowing how HARD I was going to land I hit it pretty slow 3rd gear my wheels were about 4ft off the ground. it felt like I fell 100 feet. I mean I hit HARD needless to say I dident try it agian. do you all think a prairie can handle jumps with out jaring your brain?

The 650 has a VERY soft ride for a swing arm quad...almost too soft in the front.

tommy, the 650 may not jump like a 400ex, but it does great for a sport ute. Many honda models are notorious for having no suspension. I do know the 650 has a lot more than suspension than foremans do.

I have riden 700, 500 Polarises, I have a 450 Honda and my 650 Kawi. I can tell you the IRS's are smooth but are not jumping bikes, when they land you do not now where they will go after impact too cushy. The Honda is like trying to land a lumber wagon with no suspension as you found out. The Kawi is somewhere in between the Polaris and the Honda for ride and jumping ability, although the front suspension on the Kawi is too soft so it will have to be beefed up. These bikes are still no match for a sport bike period. When you have a 600lb machine flying through the air and a 450lb with better suspension machine flying it only stands to reason witch one will soak up the bumps better.

I have raced Raptors and Banshees through the bush the Kawi does really well but no comparison to the race bikes. I can be beat up after a 2 hour ride and the other guys are ready for more. I wouldn't even try it with a Honda or a Polaris not a chance at least that's my views. Most of all have fun.
