Anybody running a Tach on the 650
We're running a digitron, playback tack, on the 650 we pull with, (around $500). We have made so many changes, clutch weights, big tires, motor work, that I can't remember what the bike did stock.
I do know to be in your stock peak horse power, you need to be @ 6500 rpm, by changing clutch weights you can change your rpm's, lighter weights more rpm's, heaver weights less rpm's.
I would guess that kawasaki has it pretty well dialed in from the factory. unless you have added heaver tires or rims or you weigh alot, you're probably as good as you can get.
If you want a cheap digial tack that will work. Tiny tachs for around $50 at High lifter I think, not hard to install, rap a wire around you spark plug wire and your good to go.
Nice truck by the way!

You can go to yamabah and get one for about 35 bucks it is the same one they sell that you pay 50 bucks for it just says yamabah on it but you can take that off with a little nail polish remover I put one of those on the wifes Ozark it does tach and hrs of operation (the main reason I put it on so I know when to do service on it since she doesnt ride as much as I do)
