This is a dumb question but I don't know and my filter didnt come with directions. I bought this for my Mojave. Do you oil both pieces of foam? Which color should you install so it catches dirt first red or yellow? Can I use K&N air filter oil or motor oil instead of uni oil? I didn't know I was going to need oil when I bought it and the sales person didn't ask me if I needed any.

You want to install the coarser filter on the outside.It will stop most of the dirt and the fine 2nd filter will stop the rest.My uni I bought for my Mo is white and blue....weird.

You can use motor oil and I would assume that K&N oil would work too.I personally like "Fab-4" oil,it's real sticky.Dont forget to grease the outside edge where the filter seals against the housing.
