Default new 650 prairie owner needs plowing advice

I just bought a 2003 prairie it is awsome, but when i pick up my plow the front end drops so far i can barley move it is only about an 1 1/2 inches of the ground. I heard some of you talking about progresive springs but i read the fronts were like 180 dollars. Do i also need them for the back? Is there any cheaper options? will the progresive fronts make my ride overall any better or just plowing? Any tips or points you guys can give me would be great thanks. The prairie is awsome and i have had a blast with it over the last 2 months. Just put in the black spring, wow what an improvement. thanks for the help guys

The shocks are $150 from (with shipping US) MAW the info is (87263) $137.95 Progressive Front Spring/Adjuster Kit Kawasaki #312006 yes they improve the diving on the front end when you turn sharp also. You do not need to change the rear it is already adjustable. I am working on another way to lift the blade if it works I will e-mail you the specs and pics I am hopeing to get it done this weekend snow started to fall and lay yesterday.

If you want pictures of it and insructions I will e-mail them to you.

The other problem is your lifting point of the plow. Do you use a winch????

I went with a lift kit instead of springs. Then you will also gain ground clearance and it will raise your plow about 2" higher. The lift kit is about the same price as front springs and is very easy to install.

Pics are comming soon. Just waiting for my digital camera(soon). I love the lift it does'nt feel tippy or handle much differen't although the real help was taking off the stock tires and putting on the Bearclaws. Although with stock tires on it still wants to dive in the corners. I never rode a 650 with aftermarket springs to compare. Also Highlifter does not recommend putting on progressive springs with a lift kit.

I am trying to decide which plow to buy for my P650. Have looked at cycle country and warn. I would like to get a good one, but I don't want it to be so heavy that it over compresses the springs when lifted. Any advice would be helpful. Also, I want one that is easy to take on and off.

I know the Warn you pull 2 pins and unhook the lift and it is off. They are both a quality set up I just liked the mounting for the warn better. Less parts to try and bolt on. Warn you bolt one plate on and your done. Cycle country a little more ( I think last I lokked if I am wrong any plaese correct it)
