breaking the bead

just an FYI for you...
I tried to use my mini tire changer today to mount my tires but I couldnt get the gosh damn bead to break on the dunlops. I finally got tired of messing with it and just took them to a tire shop.
I think the MTC would work pretty good on an aftermarket tire but the dunlops are just too flimsy for it.

Andy,
try Big-o. You may need to call several big-o's before you find one that will do it. But they did mine for $8 each tire. Instead of paying them, I just gave them my dunlops. I sure don't intend on ever putting them back on.

Thanks Trailburner
Actually thats just what i did. There is a Gateway Tire store around the corner from me that sells atv tires so I knew they could/would mount them. They also charge 8 bucks apeice.
I still have the factory tires but I would have gladly traded them for a free mount.
