Not having to deal with the valve on the inside toward the brakes, or having to drill holes to move the valves back to the outside. One reason,I guess, since I don't know a lokota from a wildebeast.

I've asked the same the question before and the answer I got was:
For light riding to medium riding the wheel spacers are OK long term but if you jump a lot or do a lot of rough riding they can cause damage in the long run. I don't know for sure but that's what I've been told.

Save your money. buy new A-arms....until then get some washers, flip your front wheels and space the wheels with washers if the Vlave stem hits anything! Be sure not to use too many washers!

just keep in mind that flipping wheels or using spacers will mess up your steering axis inclination. What that means is that the wheels will have more leverage against you when they hit a bump and will jerk the bars. you will have to woprk harder to keep it going where you want it to. you will have some bad bump steer. some people dont notice it that much but if you ride tight rough trails you will for sure.
