Default Prairie 650 Price

After calling most of the dealers in the Dallas/Ft worth area i got a quote of 6140.00 out the door and
4year warranty for 350.00 is this is good as it gets.
by the way I also shopped the price on a grizz 660 and the dealers are insulted if you ask for a deal.
thhey all say they can sell as many as they get at list, and that kawi dealers are dumping prairies because they cant sell them. whats up with that are they all(yami Dealers) just sticking together to keep the price so high.

$6140.00 is great. Our local dealer near Houston wants $6450 drive out for a 2003.

The yami dealers here are the same way, and they always want to tack on dealer prep. I wanted to buy a Bigbear back in 98 but they wouldn't take the prep fee off or at least call it something else. The said they would "throw in" some ramps though. I said "keep the ramps and drop the prep fee" no dice....Bought me a Prarie 400 the next day.
Flat price out the door no BS, that's what I like....

Here, in the mid-west, that is a great deal. Any price under $6200 is good, IMO. The warranty price is good, too. I paid the same for mine in March '02 PLUS state taxes. GO GET IT!

trx450, where did you get a price like that? I'm in Indianapolis so I wouldn't mind driving to the 'bus for a price like that! You are talking about $6,200 plus tax? (that includes freight, prep, etc.) I have told them I won't be able to buy one for at least a month, probably more like Jan. or Feb. But, they haven't even hinted of going below $6,700 here in Indiana, and that's with $300 back from Kawi! Will the dealers start to deal more when I'm ready to buy? If I bring my checkbook, will the come closer to your prices? Thanks,
PH

P.S. However, I did get a price of $6,500 on an '02 --- mmmmm okay!

Honda East in Toledo Oh. advertised them (03's) for $6200 PLUS any taxes about 2 weeks ago.
I bought mine('02) for $6140 PLUS Tax in March of this year.
Email if you want more info. There is also a large dealer in Chicago area that sells cheap, don't remember the name. Get on the net, they are in there.
