650 Headlight Bulb Fix
I found a cheaper fix for the $60 Cdn headlight bulb. Might be a good tip for your site Nyroc.
The Parts Guy said there should'nt be a problem with the wattage but I thought I would run it by you guys before I turn the Key. The stock is a 45/45w bulb, However this one says 65/55w.
The Bulb is from NAPA and is a Wagner 6260A
It fit's as good as the original.
Any thoughts ?
Oh ya it cost me $9

We have added an automotive 55/65 watt bulb to a 650. The base of the bulb had to be altered to fit but we sealed it up and it has worked without any problems. I can't remember what the bulb number was that we used. Have you checked the NAPA bulb and compared the mounting to the Kawasaki original bulb?

NYROC you should of picked up on the black coating on the bulb is to keep the heat from the bulb from generating forward into the lens. However with that much wattage be sure to check for warpage however 20 W should not make that much difference. NYROC I just installed the kimpex bumpers on mine wow what a difference in the appearance it made.... Sure looks good in my opinion...
