Hey Dieselpro
You do make a good point, however if one was worried then adjust the throttle limiter on the handle bar, also a good note to insure this is done before you let anyone drive your new wheels. Like my Nephews ar chomping at the bit to drive the machine, I will be turning down the throttle for sure, since the kids brains are still severly under developed when it comes to common sense.

I would have to agree and yet disagree with DieselPro.

After riding my 650 and also a 375 class last weekend, I felt much more in control with the 650. Going up a regular hill, the 650 climbed right up without a hitch, and I almost felt like the 375 was going to get me in trouble. The 650 also handles/corners so well, that I feel like it can read my mind (sounds corny, but this thing is awesome).

Having said that, however, Dieselpro is right on about the power thing. Just be smart.

p.s.

I love this thing in sand also (it will throw it a long way)

You'll like the P650. I just bought mine 2 days ago and I'm enjoying it a lot already. I've racked up 8hrs usage on it in 2 days and I'll rack on another 2hrs tomorrow and then do my first service change.

It is definitely pretty quick, I haven't really gotten on it at all yet until my break-in period is over.. But I can feel that the power is there. I sunk it a sandbottom creek today. Freezing cold water, really kinda sucked.. I got it out and all is well.

You won't be disappointed with your decision if you get a P650.

If you have to re-finance your house to pay for it you won't be sorry. DieselPro is right about the power thing. I have ridden a 350 Big Bear for about 3 years and thought I was pretty competent on a quad. But the power of this thing makes you brave to a fault. I LOVE IT!!!!!! Just bought mine Wed. Paid 650.00 down and got 9.5%. Payments are 147.00 for 48 months on 6441.00 otd. Trust me, you won't regret it. Thanks.

You won't be sorry if you get the p650, and after riding it those money worries just seem to be left in the dust. We will be working our ***** off to pay for it, but it's fun anyway! Ours tops out at about 65mph. Hasn't lost a drag yet against any other utilities or the scramblers it's been up against!

But they are all right when they say the tires aren't great, and the rims are SO easy to ding. Those are the only complaints, though!

Get yourself used to it before you use all that power. I've seen some learn the hard way that this thing is incredible (Don't worry, I won't give you away or tell the stories!)

I purchased a 650 Vtwin Wednesday before thanksgiving for $5,850.00 at Henson Kawasaki in Sealy Texas. I drove about 250 miles to get it for that price to me it was a good price. I quickly got it home checked the fluids and stuck it in low and went down my 1/2 driveway and came back. My stepson was on his 660 Grizzly and told me to "Gouge on it" and in low at 10-12 miles an hour the front end came straight up and I rode a huge power wheely this is a stock 604LB machine, I am amazed.
Keep in mind I live at sea level and the bike is stock. I then proceeded to wear my step sons *** out against his Grzzly, dead stop- top end it did not matter, WOW.
I have a pro-circuit pipe ordered and K&N with Jet kit as well as Douglass bead locks with 28" 589 ms and a 2.000" lift, I have Nos building me a 12-14 hp boost so I can spray the ____-- out of this machine, I am not scared !!!
Anyone want to give me some estimated Jetting tips? Please reply I am at Sea-level in south Texas.

Thanks

Take 142 from rear put it front carb, buy a 145 jet and put it in the rear this combination will be perfect with muffler and intake modds.

What type of Nitrous are you contimplating remember this is not something to fool with you could launch the heads right off the motor and you now where the heads are located. It can also pit the top of the pistons and punch a hole in the piston if you are not careful!!!!
