I spend more on my ATV over my truck, I love my atv and when I'm in my truck all I'll say is that I only drive my truck to move my atv only. I will not settle for anything less than the P650. The 650 is a pleasure to ride any you will enjoy that investment. Look at the extended warrenty to cover any unexpected problems. And the top speed on the 650 is very good however I love my low end more than top end.

Hey MuddMan2002
I myself was in a toss up between the kodiak450 and the kvf or praire 650, the reason I was comparing these to is that they are the closet match to each other besides the displacement hp and torque. both have solid rear axcel (Is better then independent in every way beside all day trail riding comfort) and a locking diff other atvs either have independent or no locking from diff oh ya some do not even have switchable 2 and 4 wheel drive, that really sucks.
I did decide to go with the 650 after driving both, no other solid rear axle atv that I have drove is near as comfortable as the 650, even with the short travel it is an excellent suspension, I absolutly love it.
In short the machine could ride like an old mule with spikes in the seat and I would still by it and love it purely for the Torque this thing has, just watch out for tight trails you'll be at the corner faster then you think. I have already experieced this.... near rear ended my dad's 650 first day out I would have never lived it down. I now have the the required respect for this engine and the stump pulling power it has. I can go on forever listing the pro's of this machine.
Quit shopping and buy the 650 you won't regret it, I

I really do want the 650 ,but It is gonna take me awhile to pay it off ,but I guess it will be worth it my friend has a 2001 Prairie 400 it is pretty fast can't imagine what the 650 is like and I can't wait to put it in 2 wd and find some loose mud and spray a good rooster tail all over my friends.

My father bought the P400 and it has turned out to be a very sweet machine...but its power is unlike the P650. One would think that with the difference only 250cc's the difference might be only slightly marginal, but the reality is that the V-Twin feels more like the power of a 800cc machine.

Hey MuddMan2002
I know it is expensive and I'm going to be paying mine off forever, but it is worth the extra cash. and trust me spraying mud all over your buddies is fun. I held the front brake and just layed into it (trying to burn off the stock tires there not the best I will admitt but they do the trick), I covered them from head to toe, I really think I gave myself a hernia I was laughing so hard, the fun with this machine is endless, for me it is all to do with the power, who am i kidding everything about the machine I love.
Good luck on the purchase
