Default Holeshot ATR Tires

There were many skeptics here when I first bought these tires. They're now becoming believer's. I took these tires out in some serious mud holes. they did not clog up they kept pulling they have AMAZING traction. They compliment the sport ride of the 650. I think they were designed for us. (650 owners). These tires are the best for any amount of money. (well almost any amount). I have not had them in snow yet but I don't imagine they will let me down. I am continually more amazed at the ability of these tires.

I just realized a mistake in my post. The price I paid for the tires with shipping is $296 not the $269 I posted earlier.

Actually they do come out to be $269.?? and a few cents. The shipping must drive it up to $296 then.

Default Holeshot ATR Tires

I just came back from a two hour ride with the new ATR tires (first ride). Trail conditions were wet, muddy and some snow not much dry or hard pack anything. The verdict............still deliberating. At first the machine felt a little unstable when approaching 25/30 mph it seem to shake side to side. I lowered the pressure from 6psi all around to 4psi this helped somewhat. It could have been the slightly frozen trail I don't know. The second and most important ha ha is the lack of wheelie! I usualy wheelie at will but today only once. I hope all of that can be attributed to the trail conditions. Like I said for me the verdict is still out for now until I can ride under better conditions. Plenty of traction even in the deeper mud areas but it seems like I may have needed a little more throttle though. Two hours on wet trails does not a reveiw make.

Two Hours in 4 to 6 inches of snow. Mostly packed trails. The ATR's felt good overall. It needed extra throttle in 2wd to keep it moving at a good clip. It handled corners very well the front tires had plenty of traction. In 4wd in performed very good with tons of acceleration. It did loose front bite in corners if I gave it too much gas causing the front tires to spin and then they would push instead of bite. Oh yeah it rode like a caddyylac. I still love these tires.

I forgot.. I did notice that side to side wobble at about 30 mph. I have not noticed it before on the same trails with no snow. Maybe the frozen ground. the review continues.

Does anyone else have trouble with the tires causing a wable at 30 mph? Or is maybe just snow in the rims causing them to be out of balance?

I was dead set to put them on my Rincon but I am now concerned about the wable I just read from two different owners.

Let me know if anyone else has a wable at 30 ?

Is there any power loss?

Thanks

Maybe the radials are wobbling back and forth between previously made tracks in the snow.
