I am having a real problem with the dealer that sold me my 03 650.
I told them that it looked like it had some scratches on it when i bought it they said to use pro prep on it and it would be fine, I tried it and it did not help. Then i took it in for a low speed miss and they can not find any problem they removed the carbs and cleaned them it has 8 hours on it and that did not help
then they said they checked the valves when i went by to p/u it still has a low speed cough.
iI told them it was not fixed and the owner said they did all they will do ant it is my problem.
I called kawisaki and they seem to side with the dealer or just not care. How can you get Kawi to help
with problem dealers.

Low speed cough is what you get, i suggest you drive it for a while and get some hours on it if possible. There are people on this forum that knew a lot more about the bike then kawi. Could be choke or jets . What ever it is, it will be cured by you with a little help from the forum. Be prepared to do a lot of these repairs yourself. You have the best of the best of quads now you will learn how to fix it.

Mine gives me a low speed cough when cold, but it disappears after the bike has warmed up. Usually, that occurs after a cold front has come thru Texas, and the air is dryer. I am guessing that you probably need to adjust your jetting. Take it to your dealer, and leave it overnight. Then, YOU go start it, and ask them to ride with you or next to you so they can experience it. It took me getting them to ride next to me to diagnose a problem once.
