Default Coolant replace for Prairie650

I have a Prairie650 and my question is how often should I replace engine coolant? I have never replace it and think it is not necessary because I can check the researve tank is full of water. Does anybody replace water so often? I have no experience to replace even my automobile.
Please advice me.

I think the owners manual says to replace it every 3 years. Or it might have been 2 years. I dont remember.

If you have to add water on a reguler basis then you have a leak somewhere.

Remember to use the proper Kawasaki coolant. A couple of guys on here have used just plain old antifreeze and have had serious problems afterwards. For the extra bucks to buy the Kawi coolant, it's worth the money.

I had called and the one dealer said to just use regular automotive antifreeze and the other one I called said to use Polaris antifreeze. They said that is what they used. I know motor cycles You have to use special antifreeze because of the silicate in it.
