dbeck, is there any way that we could assemble a list of questions for Kawasaki, or any other OEM,for that matter, before a chat takes place? We could then have a chat similar to last nights episode but have the top 4 or 5 most popular questions answered first. Those questions could be given to the guest beforehand by the moderators. This would give us the answers we were trying to get. The remaining time could be used for "questions from the floor". When you said you have known Kawasaki from 1997 it made me think of a feature that was available on the ATV connection back then.

I would visit often and was to shy for the forums then, but I have all this old material printed out which gave a brief description of the quads with there specs and a picture.

In front of me I am looking at what I printed out for the 1998 Kawasaki Prairie 400 4x4. I remember my son and his cousin one day printed out most all the quads you had on your site at that time.

That was a useful tool to quickly compare between quads of various manufactures.

I know there is some reason you stopped this but it wasn't until now that made me think to ask.

I guess I need to venture off the forums more.

I used to stick with ATV connection magazine. I now think it might have been since 1997 looking at these old printed papers and now its visa versa.

What I am looking at is formated different than what the link you have shown me, but is giving the same information. If I print the info out it might even appear the same.

I did not get chance to get on line with the kawi guys and I wonder if a question was asked about the cdi and if the new 700 is going to be down tuned when it hits the dealers. I had the wonderful chance to ride a 700 a few weeks ago at that time I tried to talk to one of the kawi reps there and he along with an engineer was very tight lipped about any specifications on either the 700 or the 650. All they told me is wait till March when the 700 is out to have all questions answered. When I asked him what that meant he brushed me off so if you now something about these reps that I don't, do tell. I have tried to talk to anyone from Kawasaki, I have called, e-mailed numerous times all I get is a royal run around and then to boot they say take your quad to your local dealer. That is fine and I have done this for waranty work which I had to repair when I got home anyway. To this day I now more about the quad than they do so maybe the kawi reps should be talking the dealers if they won't talk to us.

It is a good thing as you say the reps came on the forum to talk to people this is good sign I hope they will make an IRS big bore 4X4 in the neer future.
