Default Prairie straight pipes

Has anyone tried running straight pipes, or just gutting the factory canister on a P650? Would the sound be too loud to ride, or just pretty cool on the straight-aways?

Way to loud.

That is not what our sport needs to broadcast. Besides I would worry about burning valves.

AJ - I have a Kawi Vulcan Classic with an 800 V-Twin with a set of Vance & Hines drag pipes (straight pipes) on it. The engine is not much bigger than the P650. A similar setup would be way to loud for riding in public places.

I am still waiting for someone to make a dual exhaust for the p650. It is hard to believe someone hasn't tried it yet. If I had a way to fabricate it, it would.
