rincon power vs 650 power
Well I have seen a Rincon beat a prairie 650 and I was sure the prairie would beat the Rincon. It all went down to the start between the two.I owned a Rincon and it was faster than you think.I did plow with it and it plowed fine.It did shift alot. Now I own a 03 prairie 650 and there is no difference in power the prairie has way more mid range power and the low range really shines that the Rincon did not have.I can't wait to plow with the Prairie this year.

If a P650 is poorly tuned etc... rincon would have a chance other than that.... lets say no rincons even try to pass me anymore. I guess if you put slow tires on a P650 etc.. it could get close other than that it really shouldn't matter. Also the Rincon is faster than people think it is.

rincon power vs 650 power
Man guys the only Rincon I have been up against I disposed of in a hurry.I almost bought one when I got the 650.I rode them both back to back to back and even from a seat of the pants feel the 650 was stronger.I get a better challenge from Grizzs.Based on my experience I would say the Rincon is on par with the Polaris EFI power wise.
I can start behind the Sportsmans from a dead stop and pass them barely and thats about the way the Rincon is...

You guys are all talking straight line drags yes the P650 will beat it. But put a good rider on the Rincon with a good set of tires (25" mudlites on C series) and a rough trail, you will be riding your butt off to stay with him.
I ride with a guy that owns one and in the woods I need to push it HARD to keep up but once we hit the open road it's bye bye. He carries so much speed through the rough that the lack of power (compared to the P650) is not as big a factor as you would think. If I hit some of the things he does at the same speed I lose control. YES I've tried to match his every move but after a few minutes he's pulled away far enough that I cant see his lines and can only catch him once the trail opens up.
Bottom line don't let the numbers fool ya, it is quick trail machine in the hands of a skilled rider.
