Default got a call today

Got a call today from a friend who was going to go out ice fishing..... turns out he was walking, and a couple of guys are ahead of him on a Polaris trail boss and take a dip in the water!!!! I decide to drive over there and help those goons pull their rig out of the ice (it was laying sideways in the water and the right side tires were just above the water.

Anyways, had to break all the ice to shore (4 feet....it was in a channel) and got it out... luckily for them!

The guy was dumb enough to use the handlebar as one of the pulling points with the rope and bent either the bar or the steering stem...but all else seemed to be intact.

THE BEST PART WAS that the quad wasn't even his! It was his wife's brother's wheeler....and there was not much more than 1 inch of ice where they went in!

just another reason to take care out there.....or just use common sense!!!!!

Better to bend the bars than the stem
