riding in water

when you ride in water and the engine is hot and the water splashes up onto the engine and exhaust pipe and makes steam, will this harm anything?

It's not the best thing but should not hurt. Watch your exhaust nuts. I've had them work loose on my 300 and 400 where the exhaust bolts to the head.
