Default Muffler Removal

I'm getting ready to do a full modification on my exhaust system. I see that one exhaust pipe is connected by a clamp to the muffler, but the second appears to be a single piece, a far as I can see. Can anyone who has pulled their exhaust tell me how far up the second exhaust pipe clamps on, and what needs to be done to get it off?

thanks as always for the help.

2 10mm nuts need to be removed where the pipe bolts to the cyl head. I sprayed mine real good with WD40 the night before just to be safe. You can reach the nuts from the left side of the quad no problem.

I don't know about any body else but I just put an HMF muffler on two days ago and all I can say was taking old stock muffler off easy; putting on new one "at least HMF" was HARD! Had to get two pipes instead of one lined up and tried not to damage graphite gasket as best I could. In the end cut a slot in HMf pipe to allow to slide over gasket then beat it on and clamped it down. Have to say I was a little disappointed in the way it went on but I guess I got it on right because I have no leaks.
