I'm wondering what the best combo would be. Stock it is 12/43, and I've noticed most have changed to a 13/43. I know that I need to change them because I hit my rev limiter in a straight in 5th. My problem is I ride a lot at Finger Lakes which is an old strip mine, so there are several long steep hills to climb. I don't want to loose too much on the bottom end.

I run the 12/43 tooth on my Lakota. I am going to put a 13t from rockymoutainatv.com on it, os I cant help you thier but what I was wondering is about Finger Lakes. I am from Kansas City and I am always looking for places to ride and thats only 2 hours away. Whats it like, does it cost to get in, do you have to ride with a flag on, when is the best time to go(week days or weekends), how many people are thier usually, where is it located, is thier a number I can call to get directions?
Any info would be great!

Man it all depends on what ya have on for tires? Stock tires i woudl run 13/43! and if u have 20'tores run 13/41! I knwo that when i put the 13 on it made it better for climbing hills! I mean befor i woudl hit them in 3rd then hit 2nd! now i just hit them in 2nd! cuz its a longer gear! I find it works way way better!

It costs three dollars to get in. They only require a helmet and to stay off the road. It is an old strip mine so there are several big hills to attempt, but also there are several trails to avoid these hills. Although it might seem busy in the parking lot, you might be lucky to run into someone on the trails. It is very simple to get to it's of 63 Hwy only a few miles north of Columbia.

I try to make it out there once a week when the weather is warm. There is also a motocross track that draws the most attention. Everyone there is always friendly, so its never a problem to find people to show the trails.
