Have some general questions about the Tecate 4.

1. Did they just make them for two years...87 and 88?

2. What do you think of them? (reliability, etc...)

Yes, they were only made in `87 and `88.I have an `88 T-4 and it has tons of snap in the engine and will blow away anybody I ride with.Never had any mechanical problems except a leaking clutch case.Go to any Kawi dealer and they can get most any part from the factory. The only complaint I have is that on tight turns the inside of the front rims grind on the tie-rods.If yu have a chance at buying one,I`d say go for it.
