Lift for P650?
#1
Dang I love my machine... However, I wish I had a little more ground clearance.
How do all of you fellow Prairie owners feel about a lift kit for the 650? I realize there will be added wear and tear... but is really enough for me to be concerned? Just curious

Do you allready have taller tires? I have 26" bear claws and 27" will fit and maybe even 28"?????? Nyroc or someone else may know if the 28"ers will fit without a lift or not.
I love my 26" tires! No real power loss to speak of!

I have 27" bearclaws and had enough room before lifting , put the 1-1/4" perfex lift and didn't really notice a big difference, The rear end is only a body lift. I think it might help in the snow or mud because you can get your front end over the tight spots and then just drag the back end over after???????

Yeah, its lacking a bit in ground clearance. With my Kodiak and P650 in stock form and equal air pressure the Kodiak has more. Its no big amount but it still has more. But, I didnt buy the P650 for mud riding.

I went with a Highlifter kit and it gave me about 2 inches of extra ground clearance. This does not affect the performance or add any extra wear and tear. It just goes on your shock mounts and raises the whole machine up, not just the body like some other lifts. Good luck Dash.
