It would take a numbered drill and a speed of 1500 rpm for proper drilling speed as anything else will leave marks on the inside of the jet. Not to mention the 145 is slighly larger in girth than the 138, you drill out the 138 and you will not have enough meat for the needle to seet properly. Been there done that you will have raw fuel pooring into the carb.
