Default Black spring now or wait?

I`m putting 26" Mudlites on the stock wheels today. Should I put the black spring in prior to riding it or wait and see if there is a problem and then do it?

Thanks

If you already have the spring, just do it now. The longer you wait, the more wear on you belt. It only takes about an hour.

Hi EasterEgg,

I installed the black spring last week and my machine only has 2 hours on it. The installation took me 45 minutes the first time, thanks to NyRoc and everyone elses assistance.

I haven't noticed a difference because I'm still breaking my machine in. Like everyone is suggesting, you should install the spring now.

Larger tires or not the black spring will increase belt life. It should come stock.

i put mine in 2 days ago, i waited until i broke it in before i put it in. we had some difficuluties becuase we had a crappy pair of cir-clip pliers.

i have noticed a slight difference in response from it, i now can pop a wheelie while sitting in the middle of the seat

Hi, ZBOP I have read alot of posts on tires, and I have 27" BI/TRI claws, the biggest tires you could put under your machine are outlaw 28"x12.5-12, but some people say they rub the tank sheild. I don't see any trouble running the 27" mudlites. Yetti
