Mairer Handgaurd Installation
Just curious how anyone elses' install went.
Seems that the front handlebar cover doesn't fit correctly after the install.
I can rotate the gaurds and the brake levers down and it fits okay but at that point you don't really get much protection in the knuckle area.
I trimed up the plactic in a few places with a dremel tool and it fits okay again. The tight spot is on the right side and the brake cable.
Has anyone bought a handlebar bag after they put the handgaurds on?

DirtyDawg,
I put the Moose hand guards on a few months back and was also displeased with the fit of the right side guard. With the limited way that the right /front brake lever can be adjusted, Moose and Maier should have made their products to fit better. The right hand side guard is rotated down so far that it does not look or perform as well as it could. In addition, the Moose guards can not take any shock in really cold weather. Both of mine have broken and had to be "zip tie" repaired.
