Rear Tires?
#1
I will need a new set of tires the rear tires are 22-10-10. I would like to stay around the same height, but many manufacturers don't make this size and I would also like to keep my stock rims. I either want to get a set of holeshots or razrs. How do these numbers break down. Is the first number the tire height, second number the width and the third the rim size (diameter).

I found the same size for the razr but they are 4-ply and the holeshots are 6-ply with a $5 difference, and the internet said the holeshots weigh 2lbs less. $10 and 4lbs isn't much of a difference. Any opinions?

I had noticed that you had 13/41 gears and now know why. I found a local dealer for maxxis that can get me a better price, but I like my ground clearance so I will probably stay with the 22.

Go with the razr 2's they have alot more meat on them but a little pricey , or Maxxis all tracs they only come in 22's , but they are awesome for the buck , don't let the 2 ply scare you away from them , alot of desert racers here swar by them because they have done
150 mile races and never had to change tires , and the razr 1's (6 plys) constintly had to be changed or plugged

I want to keep my original rims 10" and keep the height for the clearance and the razr 1 in this size 22-11-10 only comes in a 4ply, I couldn't find this size in the razr 2.
The question that I keep getting asked is why I don't drop to a 20 for height, and I mainly ride at Finger Lakes here in town and you need your clearance.
