I see most of you Lakota owners are running a 13 tooth front sprocket. According to the Kawasaki website parts diagram, the stock is a 12 tooth. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you go up in number of teeth, doesn't that take away from acceleration and add to top end speed?

My question to you is, why did you go with the 13 tooth sprocket? I was thinking of going with a 13 tooth sprocket, until I found out they come with a 12. I am looking for faster acceleration.

The 13T sprocket gives a graet deal better spread between the gears. It feels to accellerate much quicker, but it does need a couple more HP over stock to carry the gears well.
