Default Dougless Wheels

Have been pricing out some wheels/rims and become frustrated as all the dealers wanted me to spend 500 bucks on tires and rims then charge me another $50 bucks to put them on. So i went to discount tire...they quoted me a price of $48 for ITP C-Series rims and they would put the tires i bought on the rims for free. I said order them. Call back the next day and Discount tires informed me that ITP will no longer sell to anyone but motorcycle/atv dealers and they cannot get the rims. He said they can get a Douglas rim.

Now I am familiar with the Douglas race rim (dont really like the look on a P650)...however, on their site they had a NICE billit rim. My concern is after a month of research i have not heard anything on their billit rim (no one seems to have, no salesperson referenced, and they are hidden on a little section of the manufactures site...thats it).

Does anyone have Douglas rims and if so how do you like. Anyone seen the billit series and can provide any insight. I like the ITP's but am sour that they are only selling to dealers who in turn wants to nickel and dime you with mounting fees (believe $12 per tire was the cheapest i was quoted). Any insight here would be appreciated.

Here is the website they are posted on...are they as durable as the ITP?

I have a set, they are awesome. I won't use ITP because douglas has the correct offsets and widths for the 650.

Look on my website for mudzilla tires in the "Prairie 650" area. You will see the douglas wheels. I paid 69 each at tread depot.

I change my own tires for free.

I bought my wheels straight from Douglas' web site so I could get the offset I wanted. No problems at all with the wheels.

Bosox you live in Ogden. Rocky Mountain ATV is in Payson about an 1hr 15 minute drive from you.. Call first and have them mounted and just go pick them up.. I'm sure if they don't carry them they will special order them for you. Rocky Mountain Atv has tremenedous buying influence.
