Default factory directed modification

hey, got a letter today from kawasaki stateing that on some kvf650-a2 or kvf650 b-2 units, the air filter element may begin to separate at the seam where the foam air filter is joined together which results in diminished filtration performance. It says to have it inspected and all the work will be done free of charge.

just wondering if any of you guys got this letter

I got that letter today. When i first saw on it recall information inside i was praying for it to be a new belt design or clutch design to increase the belt life of the P650. Ohwell. I 'm selling it anyway.

Wouldn't it be cool if the fix was to install an 03 air box. Wishfull thinking
