I'm lookin at getting the bottom ones made out of tievac (sp) canvas.

 

Well I am sure almost anything is better then what they got.

 

I am so glad I found this site.. everyone of the 650 kawis sold has broken plastic I am replacing mine with new from dealer from a 700 and sending the bill and broken plastic back to kawi if i don't get re-imbursed then it is back to hondas for my business. Kawi knows it has a problem and any reputable company would look after it but they don.t seem to give a rip about their customersText[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]

I use a wood burner to repair the plastic on a KFX 700 and on the bumper of my Vinson. Justn melt it back together and use zip ties to fill in any low spots.

ya's could go to the extreme and build fender guards like I did (pics in profile)....kinda takes away from that "sporty" look, but sure as hell does the trick. I haven't had a problem with the plastic since.
