IS GREAT I blew my Ramsey winch about 3 weeks ago trying to get out of a gulley that blew over and I sunk up to the fenders in. It took six guys to lift it out. Any way I sent the winch back for them to check. They said they found know damage caused by improper use and they couldn't find any defects. The gears where shoot and the motor had some damage. So they sent a brand new winch to my door. That is great customer service I recomended these winches before but now I really recomend them. There winches are top notch and there customer service is outstanding!!! A+++++

 

Glad to hear you had good luck with them. About 15 yrs ago I had a 8000 lb Ramsey winch on my Bronco and it burned up using it under water. I sent it to them for repair and they had it for 4 months and wouldn`t cover it under warranty (less than 1 yr old) so I had to pay if I wanted it back in 1 piece.

To be fair I did have to go through the place I purchased it from and I think they had a lot to do with it not being covered.
