Mojave people, help me find some bargains on mods!

Check Dennis Kirk or your local Kawie dealer. I bought mine from my dealer for 115.99. They can be found for any were from 100-140. Some people think they are really loud but they aren't any louder than a 4" Supertrapp w/12 discs.

Hey Depakote, can you answer a couple of questions? I think I'm set on the Supertrapp IDS2, so I'm real interested in what you have done with your bike.
How does the number of disks effect the jetting of the carb, and the noise level?
How hard was it to rejet the carb, and how do you do it? (also, where did you get the new jet?).
Thanks for the help!

Hey Sprocket,
I put the IDS2 on my 2000 Mojave. According to Supertrapp the more discs you put in the exhaust the leaner it will run, the louder it will sound, and the more power you will gain. The stock jet on the 2000 Mojave is a #132. I went up to a #138 and placed 10 discs in the bike. HOWEVER, it was running lean so I am now at 8 discs and it seems to be doing better. I personally can't tell the difference between 8 and 10 discs. However, I can see the difference in the lean/rich condition of the bike by pulling the sparkplug. I can't stress this enough. When you get the IDS2 pull the plug and look at it. Black is rich, ash or gray is lean, and tan or honey brown is good. Just remember that and you will be OK. Overall, I am happy with the supertrapp though. Hope this helps,

Yes it does, thanks a lot. I'm looking at adding the IDS2 as soon as my bike is fully broke in. It only has 4 hours on it now, but I'm planning to add at least that many this weekend.
By the way, do you get new jet from the dealer, and how hard is it to change?
