Putting the tires on too narrow of a rim wont really make them taller as much as over inflating them would. It will make them look more ballooned out on the sides because the bead of the tire is pulling the sidewall of the tire in. I dont know of anyone that makes a 12 inch wide rim, but you really wouldnt want one that wide anyway. ITP makes 8 inch wide, but you need to know your offset before ordering.
Your stock rims are fine if you only went to a taller tire and not one thats wider than you had before.

That's good to hear TeamGrnMojave269. I hope to hear from Kenda on this issue. I was going between the Mudlites, DirtDevils and the Bearclaws. Decided to go with the bearclaws due to overwhelming positive responses for the tire. People were complaining about how small the DirtDevils were compared to other brands of the same size. Maybe I got a small set from Kenda for the 26's but all 4??? Seems odd........ They do say 26 on the side of them so they should be. Seems like I have 25's instead labelled as 26's. Who knows.......
