Default 26" bearclaw measurements

Some people were inquiring on this so here it is: (Fronts are 26x9-10, Rears are 26x12-12)

Rear: 24 3/4" tall with 4.5 lbs. pressure
Front: 24 3/8" tall with 4 lbs. pressure
Lug Height Rear: 3/4"
Lug Height Front: 1/2"

Ground Clearance at bottom of rear diff., lowest point on right side: 8"

How does that compare to stock or yours? I never measured mine when it was stock.

Here's 25" Bear Claws. 25x8x12 F 25x10x12 R Brand new condition with about 2 hrs ridetime.

My tire pressure is also 4.0 F 4.5 R

ground clearence at rear diff guard: about 7.7 " I think stock is 7.6. Its more than 7.6 but not quite 7.75. A slight increase.

Rear 24" tall (I think Kenda needs to get a new tape measure)
Front 23.5" tall

Don't know how to measure lug height.

I would like to see 27" claws or 27" in another brand.

Yeah, I was quite disappointed after measuring them. What is the height of the stock dunlops?

My bearclaws are about 3/4" taller than my stock dunlops. I don't have any problem with them. I kinda wish that I would have gone with the 27", but oh well, next time!

I wonder how they get their measurements. I suppose if I put in 8lbs. of pressure they would stretch up to 25 something. Kinda like a 633cc being a 650cc.

So far I love the claws, think they are great. But, yeah next time it is 27" or 28" tires.

TeamGrnMojave269 - How much air pressure are you running? Are they on the stock rims?

Measured a 26x12 " a few years back, pos measured about 25.4" if i remimber correctly with about 6 lbs of air at about 75 deg f. Size difference from the front tires on artic cat allmost tore front end out. I figure that they sell large dia. tires by pretending they are what they claim they are.
Their should be laws about missrepresenting tire sizes. And dont bother sending e mails to kenda, they dont reply.
buyer beware.

Well, just being curious I went out and put in 7 lbs. of air pressure on the rear tires and measured them. Since 7 lbs. is what they list as max operating pressure on the tire. I got 25 3/8". Still not 26" but closer. However, who runs 7 lbs. of air pressure in their tires...
