Making my own A-Arm Bushings
#1
I recently have been thinking about making my own A-Arm bushings with a casting compound. It is a urethane that when it cures is pretty tough. I know that some guys on another car board use this stuff to fill in there motor mounts on there cars. I need new A-Arm bushings for my Tecate 4 that Im restoring and Im sure that I will probably need some more some where else and I thought that this would work good. What do you all think?

I made some for my friends quad using my lathe, but other than that I can see you getting any kind of tight/consistant tolerances without the lathe. Have you checked to see if any other a-arms from other quads will fit?
