All the dealerships I called in Oregon said they don't have any and don't know when they will get them in. I thought maybe some other dealerships in other states might have some in. Is there some way to track them down online?

There is one here in Dothan Alabama. I called today about the 400 and he said thay just got the 700 in Friday.

Kawasaki just started shipping them late last week (1 per dealer initially, I understand); they should be trickling in over this week and early next week all over the country. My dealer expects my orange 700 to arrive today. Hopefully that is helpful.

 

Thanks guys. I just got back from putting my deposit down so I hope it isn't too much longer. I wasn't sure how the distribution channel worked for Kawi and thought maybe I could speed the process up by purchasing out of state.

jsut got my new green 700 wednesday, dealer tells me they will trickle in, maybe 1 per week.

 

I'm headed up to check out the 700 at the dealer by my house later today. Cant wait to see it.

 

you can get one in corinth mississippi. that thing is pretty bad. they were supposed to be putting pipes on it yesterday after i rode it. didnt get to go far tho, coz it was too wet and they didn't want it real dirty. barely tap the gas and it'll stand right up. nice, but i think the front end is ugly as crap.

 

Almost every dealer in N.C. has 1 or 2 in stock. The dealer even delivered mine to my door last week (a 50 mile drive one way)!

They are tight on the price. Not many want to deal under $6500 OTD...

 

They arrived at the Dallas area dealers on Thursday. I rode one today in the parking lot and like it OK. The auto feels much like a clutchless manual shift in the way it decelerates. The wheels will come up all right. Everyone got orange for the first one in around here. It is growing on me, but I'm not sure. Especially for having to pay MSRP. I've spoken with about 5-6 dealers and no one will discount it. More should ship in the next few weeks and the price may come down.

 

Same deal in Ohio .....Most Dealers seem to be planning to get MSRP for the first wave ....


I did buy mine at $6303 plus tax and title last week .

FYI .... I love this bike ..... plan to have a dual exhaust sometime next week.
