I think this is about the time the raptor riders and ds650 riders like myself come together as ONE and show all you Pee-force riders that your going to get your a$$ handed to you on a paper plate!!! I don't know how you can even compare them, hell I don't know what makes the Pee-force a sport quad!! so BRING IT ON and show us what makes your Pee-force so special. I bet that hit a nerve. Carry on.

DS650's and Raptors together, one of them selling cold soft drinks and the other for cheeseburgers and chips.

A friend of mine just purchased one (STecate925) and I was over to see it a couple of days ago and I was impressed. It does have a really large look to it. I haven't compaired the numbers but it has to be as big or slightly bigger than the DS650's. I thought the transmission felt smooth, I mentioned to him that I wish Kawi would have located the trans selector lock button in the front so you could push it with your index finger. Right now it located right in the palm area and it seemed awkward to push it down and turn the dial. If it would have been in the front it would have been a lot easier to manipulate. It had a solid feel to it. It had a turbine like sound as you decelerate on the machine. It has to be the belt on the trans, but it is just a little strange but cool all at the same time. He said that it felt very comfortable on the track and while jumping. Landings on the big machine seemed to be surprisingly comfortable.

I have a 2000 Scrambler 500 4x4 and my wife rides a 2002 Scrambler X 500 2x4 so I am very familiar with the CV Transmissions. It will be interesting to see how things turn out. I also own a heavily modded Raptor that will out run STecate925's Cannondale so he now has a V-Force 700 in his stable in the hopes of putting a whipping on me. So, there will at least be a race happening over my way to see which bike is faster. Open up the airbox, add a free flowing pipe and rejet the carbs and it may be a real factor on the drag strip. I am a big fan of V-Twin engines and I loved the sound of the idle. When you rev the engine while it's sitting, it was extreemely smooth.

Don't get lost in all the acolades that I am giving .................... I'm still gonna smoke him.

My 02 Praire 650 will run over 65 MPH, STOCK!!!, what makes any of you craptors think that taking off close to 100 lbs and adding 50 more CC's will not allow this v-force to run over 75 mph and we are still talking all stock. The holeshots are better, top end is better, oh but maybe the craptors can catch them in the middle of the race!! I myself am a mudder but I still love racing my beast, after reading all I can about the new V-force and riding with raptors every weekend, if I was buying (and not because I already own a Kawi) I would be drying my eyeballs out on the new V-FORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uhh...and how long does it take to get to 65? a minute? Thats the key here, acceleration. Who cares about top speed? Races dont last over 100 yds anyways.

No not a "real" muscle man just a normal guy 6'2" 195lbs. Love my quad, love getting muddy, but most of all with all this crap aside, don't we all just want to "get along"!!!!

And no it doesn't take a minute to get to 65mph have you ever seen a prairie or are you just in the Kawi forum talking junk about what your craptor can do. I can and have on occassion (not too often) beat a 400ex that rides with us. That's beside the point, I can't beat you, but you can't follow me!!!!!!!!!!!!! With that settled I'm ready for some real conversation in this forum about some actual races. Come on guys, let run em!!!!!!!!!!

Some people, like myself, prefer the feel of a heavy machine and an automatic. That's why I liked the p650 over the 400ex I had before. I loved the 400ex, but I liked the features of the p650 better since I don't jump like a madman anymore. Therefore, IF I wanted a sport quad again I would take the 700 over the 660. In 1991 I would have taken the 660 hands down for the riding I was doing at that time. They are all awesome machines. Let's have fun. Have a nice weekend guys.

I went on a rough and fun ride last night, with lots of races. We made a track and raced around it and then timed runs around it. I'm on a P650 and there was a KFX700, 400EX and the Suzuki twin of the KFX400. I could keep up with those guys on the track and sort of suprised them that I could. I can't beat them in acceleration but by the way the track was, I could stay with them. And mine is completely stock except for big 589's all around. Hard to believe that someone would suggest that it takes a minute to get up to 65.
