Is he a puss? The only thing i really like about that 700 is that it would be great as a wifes bike. (im serious) Some girls are too stubborn to drive a manual clutch. So the only option is pretty much a polaris. This will solve that problem. The wife can have a nice huge 4 stroke that might be able to keep up with my rappy ;]
It would also tow great when things break like they always do. But it will always be an auto. And thats just no fun in the sand. Mom and grandpa will love it though. =Þ

when you young'uns grow up you'll see how nice it is to just hit the gas and go.I've shifted bikes all my life its nice to relax and go like a bat out of he!!now all of us pu$$ie 700 owners are going to go and have some real fun on the trails for a change.you are right it would make a good tow rig I wish I had it when my friend blew his tranny in his raptor and i had to pull him home or when my brother fried the clutch in his 300 ex and I had to tow him home or when my other friend broke the chain on his z400 and I had to tow him home....later

The 700 don't have 50 HP at the rear wheels it has it at the crank but if it did have 50 hp that the rear wheels it still weighs well over 500 pounds which will slow it down a lot! Also since its shaft driven that hogs alot more ponies to push than the chain drive.

First let me say that all you fools talking crap about an auto don't know jack about one. Autos are better for drag racing period. I've never raced anything that could pull a holeshot on my 400 Scrambler, but I've spent many hours tuning that clutch setup. When they're clutched right, they shoot out like a rubber band, hit their peak RPM quickly and stay there. If you could launch the 700 at full throttle there's nothing short of an all-out racer that could keep up with it out of the hole. I was messing with my brother on his Banshee and we punched it when we were doing about 20mph and the friggin' thing still almost flipped back on me. There are literally thousands of possible spring/weight/helix/pretension possibilities on an auto and if Kawi had the same selection Polaris does then we could get a much better idea what the V-Force could do.
Personally I don't think the 700 should have ever left the factory with the front end coming up that easily, especially when you can't buy an extended swingarm for one.

Riznaptor, If your logic is correct, why aren't all cars driven off of chain and sprocket? How it gets power to the ground is not important, it's results. The V-Force is so new people haven't had achance to find out what it's all about. They keep applying the same old stereotypes and going from there. Open your mind brother, I bought the V-Force sight unseen because I had feeling and I was right. This thing rocks and for all the right reasons. Imagine hopping on this thing and riding it on par with any sport bike you've ever ridden before. Then imagine getting off, a complete newbe to atving getting on and doing the same thing. There's the beauty. Not everyone can get on a Raptor and go for a trailride. The V-force spans the gammit. I get on and do the same jumps and course I would do on my Cannondale, then my girlfriend gets on and we go for a nice trailride. Do that with a Raptor.

Theres more to riding than pushing the throttle. You talk like it's easy as pie, no newb can just hope on ANY quad and do as good as an experienced rider. I've let people take my Raptor for a spin with NO experience with manual shifting and they all worked it fine. Of course I gave a little quick lesson but every one of them caught right on! Of course an auto is alot easier for newbs but they can work manuals fine too, it's not like its gonna take them 5 years to learn...maybe 5 minutes. They will have just as much fun with manual as auto and anyways they prolly will stay in one gear anyways while trail riding.
