Yeah the auto might give you a good jump out of the hole, but who like to drag only? I like jumping, hill climbing, and doing those nasty holeshotes on the side of the dunes.
Its to heavy to jump. It might not get into the gear you want it in. And with a light front end and no swing arm that you can lengthen It with yet would be death in those holeshots. Would be waiting for a jeep with a winch.

And it also is a HUGE compliment to the V-force!!
IF kawi, has come out wutha Auto tranny/drivshaft quad that WILL run with the Rappy,and DS you Kawi guys outta be STOKED!!!!!
That is all anyone could hope for. You have a big machine with just about Every Comfort option known to the quad world,AND it is hanging right with 2 of the fastest sport quads made today!!!

It is easy to launch the 700, if you get it down. I can nail it from a dead stop and I don't have a problem with it flipping back.
For the next race, after I get my 700 back, I will mod the 700! I will pipe and jet it along with a clutch kit. I have even considered NOS! In my first post I didn't mean to sound like I was disappointed with the performance at all. I just wanted to see where the 700 stood.

Top end aside (the Raptor could be faster, I haven't raced one in a drag), I think the 700 works like magic when put in its element (sloppy woods riding). I picked up my 700 on Friday and had a chance to ride it all day on Saturday along with a lot of other quads (banshees, 400exs and Raptors included) on a closed course ATV track in the New Jersey pine barrens. Suffice to say, the conditions were perfect for the 700 and obviously less so for the other quads (the mud on the track was horrendous given the post-winter thaw).
While all other manual shift quads (raptors and banshees included) were struggling through the sloppy track, I was amazed at how easy it was to navigate given the conditions. Several people told me the 700 was easily the fastest quad on the track on Saturday. I'm not saying that the 700 can beat raptors, banshees, predators, etc. on a MX track, but placed in the right setting the machine is magic. Even my girlfriend (who is not a very good rider) embarassed a couple of the "manual shift" guys on the track, which didn't make them too happy. If you can tell I love the 700, you're right.

The only thing I can think of to respond to that is you must've gotten a lemon. 1/2 throttle will easily get the front-end straight up on mine, full throttle would result in a complete backflip if I was crazy enough not to let off. A full-throttle punch even from a moving 20MPH wil result in the fron-end standing straight up. Like I've said before, IMO Kawi should have never let if come from the factory with the front-end coing up that easily. That's the bad news.
The good news is that when pipes and clutch parts start coming out, people will quickly realize the potential of these machines. Stock pipe and clutching are horrible.
As for jumping, it jumps very good. At no time did I ever notice the weight on any jumps.
